USB Joystick for MRI

Overview

Do you need a pointing device for use in an MRI environment? Our joystick combines a short handle that can be operated with one or two fingers with a solid, stable base. One handle mounted button and four body mounted buttons allow subjects to provide additional inputs.

Analog magnet room circuit design allows interference-free operation in the MR environment
10-bit signal digitization offers superior control for demanding experiments
Two axes and 5 buttons (1 shaft mounted, 4 on the body) provide tactile feedback for positive subject responses (Tactile buttons depress at 3 Newtons of force or approx. 300g)
USB HID interface appears as a standard USB HID joystick when plugged into PC, Mac, or Linux systems. No driver intstallation required
Durable plastic unibody construction
300 series stainless steel joystick gimbal provides long life while also being non-ferrous
Return-to-center spring (if your application does not allow a return to center spring, this can be removed; please specify when ordering)
Optional analog output (0-5v) for faster sampling via DAC available
Dimensions: 8 inches length, 5 inches width, 1.5 inches height (shaft extends 3 inches above body)
