Piezo Vibration Stimulator for MRI

Overview

Up to 10 stimulator units attach to fingers for actuating vibratory stimulus. Each finger can be independantly controlled for frequency and duration of vibration. Using scripting from your presentation software, complex sequences of vibration stimuli can be presented to the subject.

Generate up to 10 independent frequencies and durations of stimulation
Frequency range: 2Hz to 2kHz (intensity is higher at lower frequencies)
Duration range: 1ms to 10 seconds
USB Serial interface appears as a standard serial port when plugged into PC, Mac, or Linux systems. No driver installation required
Controlled via simple serial commands sent from the host PC software (E-Prime, Matlab, etc)
Plastic construction with copper wire and piezo electric vibration elements
Standard sizing for adult subjects' fingers; other sizes available/li>
Velcro retention straps for attachment to fingers; other options upon request
